Exhibiting artists from SAC’s Gallery won several awards at the 2018 Central Alabama Showcase.
This event is an annual art competition sponsored by The Kelly Fitzpatrick Memorial Gallery, also known as The Kelly, in Wetumpka, Alabama.
About “The Kelly”
According to their website, the mission of the Kelly Fitzpatrick Memorial Gallery is:
“to engage, inspire and educate artists and the public at large by promoting local and regional visual arts through the collection, recognition, documentation, and the publication of relevant works of American art.”
Carol Hickman, President of The Kelly Fitzpatrick Memorial Gallery, said “[they] reached out to art organizations all over central Alabama and invited them to submit their best works from local artists to be a part of the show.” (Source: The Wetumpka Herald)
