Notecard by Kay Brummal: Discarded Dreams

Kay Brummal

Hello,

I am writing on behalf of the Society of Arts and Crafts (SAC’s) of Central Alabama.

Kay Brummal, Montgomery, Alabama
Kay Brummal

In case you are unfamiliar with the Society (SAC’s) or the Gallery, I would like to provide a little background information.

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to furthering Regional Art through education and community outreach. SAC’s was started in 1974 by a group of regional artists and craftsmen. Five years later they were able to open SAC’s Gallery.

The goals of the Society were, and still are, to provide a forum for regional artisans to showcase their original work and provide information and education in the arts to the public. SAC’s Gallery provides the most visible means of accomplishing those goals. It is operated as a not-for-profit business allowing exhibitors to offer work to the public with moderate cost to the exhibitors.

If you are an Artist or Craftsman, we exist for you.

SAC’s Gallery has openings for exhibitors in several categories of Fine Art and Crafts.

There are, on average, 25 exhibitors showing at the Gallery at any given time. Periodically, we feature an artist and a craftsman at the Gallery and invite the public to meet these artisans. We would like to extend an invitation to you to apply as an exhibitor.

For more details, or to apply, contact SAC’s Gallery at (334) 265-9931, or stop by the Gallery with three representative works that you can leave to be juried.

Stop by soon for a cup of coffee or a cold drink.

We look forward to meeting you!
