Kathie McLeod in Montgomery AL

Biography

Kathie McLeod, a native of Montgomery, is a graduate of Sidney Lanier High School.

She also attended the University of Montevallo and took art classes at Huntingdon College.

She lived three years in New York and twelve years in Birmingham before returning to Montgomery in 1979.

Since then, she has been able to work on art out of her home. She is, for the most part, a self-taught artist.

She was a student of the late Paul Tate and now paints with Donnave Lindsey and Clark Walker. She enjoys working with watercolor, painting still life, landscapes, and nature.

Her work has been accepted into the Region Bank/Montgomery Art Guild juried shows. She is a member of the Armory Gallery Committee, and SAC’s Gallery, where her work is on display.
