In and OUTSIDE THE BOX
Let’s think outside the box. Heck let’s throw away the box!
SAC’s Gallery sponsored a “Creativity” Workshop April 12th, 2014 in Montgomery, Alabama at our gallery location on S. Perry St.
Rich Richardson led the way…
About Rich
To know Rich is to better understand what this class was all about.
Rich Richardson graduated from Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles, year 1957.
He has been drawing, painting, designing and gluing ever since. Working in various parts of the world for advertising agencies, publishing houses and individuals with good and bad ideas; with or without pay!
So, adding it up, according to Rich, “it’s been a varied and interesting career… even exciting at times!”
We think that’s a bit of an understatement.
We Got Creative!
Students were encouraged to work outside of their comfort zone.
Each student made a piece of art using items like torn paper, stick and ink, and/or pastels. Paints were available to work with as well.
Rich set up a still life to work from and it was the start of another adventure!
